Newcastle Express Interest in Juventus Midfield Mainstay

Juventus central midfielder Adrien Rabiot has suddenly emerged as a prospective transfer target, in line for a move away from the Allianz Stadium come January, although he has been a concrete starter for the Bianconeri ever since joining from Paris Saint-Germain in 2019/20.

According to 90min, boosted by their recent Saudi-led takeover, Newcastle United have made initial contact with Juventus over a potential signing in January.

Fuelled by reports from Calciomercato, Juventus are said to be willing to part ways with the French international, whose contract with the Old Lady expires in June 2023.

The 26-year-old has a market value of €30m, according to transfermarkt, and Juventus would be more than willing to recuperate some of that instead of letting him go for free down the lane.

Any offers nearing the €15-20m mark could very well be heard by Juventus.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid are also another club in contention as his next destination.

Juventus are already planning to boost their ranks with another central midfielder to give Manuel Locatelli some company, as Monaco starlet Aurelien Tchouameni and ex-star Paul Pogba are being touted as potential onboardings.
