Nico Dominguez: “There Was Talks with Milan, But I Don’t Miss Italy”

Argentina midfielder Nicolás Domínguez, who earlier in the summer moved from Bologna to Nottingham Forest, has opened up on his new adventure in England. Dominguez has experienced a decent start to his tenure with the Tricky Trees, and is enjoying his new start to life after missing the first two games in the Premier League having played in Bologna’s opening two games of the Serie A season.

The former Rossoblù spoke to Gianluca Di Marzio in an exclusive interview, taking stock of Bologna’s start to the season and the missed chance of signing for Milan.

“I see that Bologna are playing well, I saw them against Empoli and then they drew with Inter. I have many friends still in the city and my daughter was born in Bologna. My heart is there. Milan? There was talk about it, I waited but nothing.” (via TuttoBolognaweb)

Dominguez is happy with his choice of moving to the Premier League.

“In the end, I’m happy with the choice I made. Life here is different but we’re happy. I don’t miss Italy that much.”

He has appeared without break for Nottingham since signing in the summer, with one assist in four caps.
