Fiorentina chased after Murillo throughout the summer, but Nottingham Forest are in the lead to acquire him from Corinthians. The negotiation is in very advanced stages and could be finalized in short order. The Tricky Trees lodged a €15M offer, including add-ons, Alfredo Pedullà informs.

“We received a bid from Nottingham Forest Saturday, and we replied to it. We’re negotiating. The deal hasn’t been sealed yet. We’ll be in Argentina Monday. Torino are keen too. They signaled their intention to put forth an official proposal. We’ll wait for it.”
Fiorentina probed Murillo as a possible replacement for Lucas Martinez Quarta. The Argentine is on River Plates and Betis’ radar, La Nazione informs (via Sportitalia). He got the start against Lecce over the weekend, as nothing was imminent yet.
The Viola completed one switch in the back so far, selling Igor to Brighton for a sizeable fee and replacing him with Yerry Mina. He was out of contract after his spell at Everton. He has yet to debut due to a lack of conditioning.
