The 30-year-old Brazilian can feature in multiple positions between the midfield and the attack. He featured as a second-striker and an offensive box-to-box last season. He can play also as a no.10 or on the flanks. Milan beat the competition from Sassuolo, Fiorentina, and Torino to sign him.
Messias played 36 times for Crotone the last season in Serie A, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 3,218 total playing minutes throughout the season.
