It’s official, Fabian Ruiz is a Paris Saint-Germain player. The Parisians have released an official statement announcing the signing of the Spanish midfielder on a five-year deal – lasting until 30 June 2027. The Real Betis youth product was long-linked to an exit from Napoli, and now becomes the club’s sixth first-team departure.
PSG have reportedly completed the move by offering €23M to lure the Spaniard, just a day prior to the transfer window deadline. He signed with the Partenopei in the summer of 2018 on a five-year contract, which was due to expire in 2023.

Since he was in the final year of his contract and no agreement was met regarding an extension deal, club president Aurelio De Laurentiis and sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli had long pondered releasing him from the club’s payroll.
While Fabian Ruiz had been previously linked to a return to La Liga, Paris Saint-Germain was the only club that opened talks to acquire him this summer.
He ends his Napoli career with 22 goals and 15 assists across 166 appearances.
