Pastorello Comments About Meret, Arthur, and Baldanzi

Agent Federico Pastorello discussed the present and future of a few of his clients, starting with Alex Meret, who’s under contract with Napoli until 2025, in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb.

“The talks are ongoing, and the relationship with the brass is good. He’s very comfortable in Naples. We’re willing to discuss an extension, then we also need to see the numbers. We’re open to staying. He feels at home there and perceives the affection of the fans.”

Arthur is thriving at Fiorentina while on loan from Juventus.

“I wish to thank their directors and Vincenzo Italiano for their courage in listening to my advice after an injury-riddled season. It wasn’t easy to sign him. I was sure he would do well. They have an option to buy, but I don’t take it into consideration. It was inserted to give the Viola a chance to redeem him, but he has a very expensive contract, so there are some issues. We’ll sit down at the end of the season to take stock. He’s great there, but everything is premature now. I can’t rule out any outcome.”

Pastorello disclosed a backstory about Baldanzi.

“He was supposed to transfer to Fiorentina last summer, and we had worked hard on the deal. Unfortunately, Gaetano Castrovilli’s move to Bournemouth fell through, and they no longer had the budget to invest. In addition, Empoli had already sold Fabiano Parisi and Guglielmo Vicario. I was sorry because he would have deserved this opportunity.”
