Bayern Munich beat Bavarian rivals FC Augsburg 3-1, post which manager Thomas Tuchel revealed the reason why Inter target Benjamin Pavard was excluded from the squad. With just a few days left in the summer window, Tuchel has made it clear that the German giants will send Pavard away only if they find an apt replacement.

Speaking to DAZN (via FCInterNews), the ex-Chelsea boss shed light on the transfer saga with Inter.
“We still have a few days left. Benjamin missed today’s match with a back problem, but it’s nothing too serious. He’s one of our players, that’s the situation today. He said he wants to leave, that’s his wish. Bayern will keep moving for the substitute. Am I annoyed? No, I don’t take it personally, he’s very focused on his wishes.”

Pavard, who is pushing for a move, has agreed to personal terms with Inter in a deal worth €30M, but the condition is that Bayern first sign a substitute to fill his shoes. His contract at Bayern expires at the end of the current season.
