Pimenta Dishes on Dumfries, Pogba, and January Window

Agent Rafaela Pimenta commented on two of her main clients, Denzel Dumfries and Paul Pogba, in an interview with Rai Sport (via Tuttomercatoweb). The Dutchman has been linked with an exit after showing off in Qatar.

“We have seen his performances with the Netherlands in the World Cup. He fared very well, but we expected it. We are happy for him, and I wish Inter were too, but I don’t doubt it. He’s their player and carries them in his hearth, then we’ll see what happens.”

“Paul went through a really rough moment when he realized that he wouldn’t be able to go to Qatar. He was down in the dumps, but then he understood that he couldn’t dwell on it because he’s a Juventus player and he has to focus on his club. We have always been very clear with them. I hope things will continue to go as well as always.”

On top of dishing on Dumfries and Pogba, Pimenta previewed the January window and touched on the role of agents.

“It won’t be particularly busy, because clubs will just try to fix their squads. It’ll be interesting since some teams postponed their decisions last summer because of the World Cup. I’m curious.”

“Mino Raiola never wanted a battle, just to express his ideas that agents are part of this splendid game that is football. They are actors in this world, and for that reason, they need to have rights, duties, and a voice.”
