Pinto: “A Team with Ambition Like Ours Cannot Be Happy”

Ahead of the Giallorossi’s match against Sassuolo, Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto expressed his dissatisfaction after the Derby loss.

A fatal error from Ibanez as he attempted to dribble passed Pedro enabled him to be easilu dispossessed by the veteran winger, causing Felipe Anderson to score from close-range with such ease in-transition.

Consequently, Roma have dropped out of the top-four with a total of 25 points, level with Juventus and only one point ahead of Inzaghi’s Inter.

Before the crucial fixture against the  which places the capital club in quite a challenging dilemma, Pinto provided his insight of the situation after dropping points to crosstown rivals Lazio, via LaRoma24:

“A team with ambition like ours cannot be happy after that defeat. The last two days have been painful, but the only good thing about this fixture list is that we don’t have time to fall into depression. We must take out our anger and irritation on the next game against Sassuolo.”
