The Rossoneri cruised to a narrow 3-2 win over the Nerazzurri in the season’s first crosstown duel, but the Parma-born tactician wants to move on and focus on the ensuing tilts.

Speaking to Sky Sport (via FCInterNews), Pioli displayed his satisfaction with the crucial derby win that may very well have a major impact at the end of the season.
“What does such result leave us with? We are left with the awareness of having played excellent football for 70 minutes.”
The gaffer wishes to turn the page quickly as his outfit prepares to face the Austrian champions in Salzburg in what is just the third European meeting between the two sides.
“Tomorrow’s game will be different. They are a a fast, intense team, used to playing well. We will need a high-level Milan.”
No Austrian side has ever beaten an Italian opponent in the previous ten meetings in the UEFA Champions League. Milan have won both their encounters so far against RB Salzburg – back in the 1994/95 UCL group stages.
