Pioli to Sign New Two-Year Contract Tomorrow

Milan manager Stefano Pioli will reportedly sign a new two-year contract with the club tomorrow.

According to Calciomercato.comthe 56-year-old will pen a new deal with the Rossoneri that will see him earn €3.5m plus bonuses. Pioli may not be the only Milan personnel to extend his stay with the club as Theo Hernandez, Rafael Leao and Ismael Bennacer could be doing the same in the forthcoming period.

The 56-year-old joined the Rossoneri  in 2019 and has turned things around for the team, taking them to a position that sees them challenge for titles. In 106 matches under Pioli, Milan have won 59 matches while drawing 27 and losing 20.

Given his contribution so far, the former Inter boss signing a new deal is a major boost for the seven-time Champions League winners.

Milan are currently second in the Serie A table with only goal-difference separating them and Napoli. After beating Atletico Madrid, the Rossoneri next host Sassuolo on Sunday.
