Pobega to Return to Milan After End of Torino Loan Spell

Milan loanee Tommaso Pobega looks set to return to the club following the end of his loan spell at Torino.

According to Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), the Granata fans want the 22-year-old to stay at the club but it looks like he will return to the Rossoneri.

Pobega joined Torino on loan till the end of the season and has done pretty well for them so far. In ten appearances across all competitions, the midfielder has scored two goals while providing an assist.

The 22-year-old joined Milan’s youth team in 2013 and has risen up the ranks since. However, he is yet to make an appearance for the club’s senior team.

He spent last season on loan at Spezia and will play for Torino until next summer, as of now. Given his performances so far, the club will definitely prefer to sign him for good. However, that may not be the case as per Tuttosport.

That said, if Pobega returns to Milan, it will be quite challenging for him to be a starter in their squad, given that they have some pretty good players in their midfield.
