Pogba Agent Announces Imminent Return from Knee Injury

On the day they lost Gleison Bremer for three weeks with a thigh injury, Juventus got positive news on Paul Pogba, who’s on the verge of resuming training fully. His agent Rafaela Pimenta talked to TuttoSport.

“He’s enthusiastic. His superpower is to get past difficulties with incredible strength and positivity. A week ago, he told me that he didn’t want to worry about anything but his recovery. He didn’t have surgery because he thought he would come back sooner with a conservative treatment. He’s on the other side of the nightmare and will lead the squad.”

The representative recalled how the return to the Bianconeri came to be.

“Everything happened in April, when their executives Maurizio Arrivabene and Pavel Nedved visited Monte Carlo for the tennis tournament. They swung by our office, we chatted and I proposed signing him. They were thrilled, but they didn’t know whether he would agree. We called him and he was happy. He had other options, but he cast them aside when this opportunity arose. He loves Juventus because he had his best moments with them. A player will always be attached to the side where he made the leap. That’s why it means a lot to him.”

On top of updating on Pogba, Pimenta weighed in on her other clients.

“Gianluigi Donnarumma is great in Paris, but nobody knows the future. Denzel Dumfries is an exemplary professional that wants to emerge. Moise Kean earned a lot when he was young, and that confused him. He’s becoming an adult now, and he’s just eager to play. Andrea Pinamonti was looking for a team that would valorize him rather than for a big salary and found one in Sassuolo.”
