Paul Pogba does not want to extend his contract with Manchester United and will push to transfer in the summer. Juventus and Real Madrid are his preferred destinations as he has remained very attached to the Turin club. If the Red Devils did not allow the move, he would play out the final year of his deal and pick a new team in June of 2022, transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported.
The French midfielder spent four years with the Bianconeri after joining as a free agent when he was 19. He went on to amass 178 appearances and win four Scudetti and two Coppa Italia. He was acquired back by Manchester United in 2016 for €105M. His last two seasons have been underwhelming also because of injuries.
Paulo Dybala is in the same contractual situation, but Juventus are unlikely to let him leave for nothing. He would be put on the market in the next window if they could not agree to extend his deal beforehand. Given his plummeting price tag after a rough campaign from the physical standpoint, he could transfer as part of swap deal rather than through a straight sale, Eurosport informed.
A trade between the two unhappy stars will be a possibility in the summer. Manchester United almost acquired Dybala in exchange for Romelu Lukaku two years ago, but the Argentinian striker refused the move at the time. However, the Red Devils so far have been resistant to the idea of parting ways with Pogba.
