Ex-Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has continuously been linked with a move to rivals Inter, but increased playing time at Barcelona indicates the central midfielder won’t be moving anytime soon. However, two Premier League clubs are still hopeful of signing the Ivorian in the summer window.
As per Spanish outlet SPORT, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa have joined the race for Kessie, who has been increasingly favoured by coach Xavi entering the second half of the season.
In Barcelona, there have been a number of reports denying any chance of Franck Kessie leaving Camp Nou in recent months.
However in Italy, there is a similarly regular string of reports claiming Inter's interest in bringing Kessie back to Serie A. pic.twitter.com/A6RsNiHGBb

The 26-year-old has already been subjected to initial talks at Inter’s end, with agent George Atangana in the spotlight to conduct negotiations. However, Barca are keen to keep the former Atalanta man, as Xavi views him as an ideal replacement for Sergio Busquets.
Kessie is well acquainted with Italian football and might as well favor a move to Inter if first-team football fades as matches come by, but the lure of the Premier League cannot entirely be ruled out.
