Stadio Giuseppe Meazza a.k.a San Siro as it is widely known might be in its latter stages. The iconic cathedral of world football is being planned to be demolished and the expected financial expenditure for both Inter and Milan has been speculatively revealed.
According to Tuttosport (via Tuttomercatoweb), it will cost both the Nerazzurri and Rossoneri an equivalent of €260M each, with the total cost of the new stadium rising upto to €1.3B.

It is known that a 20-year loan will be utilized, at a 4.5% interest rate for 60% of the total sum of money. The remaining 40% will be paid in equal parts by the two eternal rivals through a means of future revenue – either through matchday ticketing, sponsorships, foreign investments, merchandising or other avenues.
With the San Siro planned to be teared down, the finances have been predicted in accordance to the Economic and Financial Plan.
Milan president Paolo Scaroni and Inter CEO Alessandro Antonello have also already shared their thoughts on the new mega-project.
