PSG Boss Galtier Mantains Hopes of Skriniar Transfer from Inter

After Paris Saint-Germain cruised to a 3-0 win at Toulouse yesterday, coach Christophe Galtier was quizzed regarding his opinion on the club’s pursuit of Inter ace Milan Skriniar. The gaffer, who has previously expressed his admiration for the center-back, reiterated his intention of signing the Slovak defender.

Speaking in his post-match press conference (via FCInterNews), Galtier shed light on the transfer saga that has extended throughout the summer.

“I hope we will be able to buy Skriniar. We have to wait until tomorrow, I have no information on the subject. It’s possible because the transfer window is still open, but I don’t know. Surely you jounalists are more informed than me.”

Inter have insisted on receiving nothing less than €90M for their star defender despite him having less than a year left on his contract. Reports indicate that the Nerazzurri will offer Skriniar the option to extend his stay, with a renewed deal coming his way soon.
