PSG Seek Milan Target to Replace Real Madrid-Bound Mbappe

As Paris Saint-Germain prepare to lose Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid to the end of the season, the Parisians keep close tabs on a potential replacement for the World Cup winner. The name in contention for a move to the French capital is Amine Gouiri – a highly-rated French talent who is also on the radar of Milan, according to reports from France and Italy (via Le10Sport).

Ex-Rossoneri sporting director Leonardo, who now heads executive functions at the French giants, has kept close tabs for a while now on the youngster who just celebrated his 22nd birthday. The Lyon youth product is touted to be one of the two shortlisted direct replacements for Mbappe, alongside Lille’s Jonathan David, who has also been linked to Milan on several occasions.

Milan recently welcomed Serbian sensation Marko Lazetic, but are keen to add another youth talent in their ranks. The Rossoneri’s pure in-the-box strikers are both veterans – Oliver Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic – and their respective futures are in the air.

The No.11 is a skillful player with many tricks up his sleeve and is in contention to become one of France’s most important players down the lane. He has regularly featured across all the steps of the French youth national teams, from U16 to the U21 levels. However, this is only his second season in top-flight football.

Gouiri has been a great asset for Nice this campaign, scoring 11 goals and providing 7 assists in 28 appearances across all competitions.
