PSG to Triple Milan Star’s Salary to Take Him Away from Serie A

Paris Saint-Germain are ready to table a substantial bid to Theo Hernandez to lure him away from Milan this summer. However, as reported by SportMediaset (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri are reluctant to discuss the left-back’s departure unless a €60million offer were to arrive.

After signing Achraf Hakimi from Inter earlier in the summer, Les Parisiens are keen to another former Real Madrid full-back to their roster. PSG are big admirers of Hernandez and are looking to offer him a sizeable pay rise to tempt him to leave Milan for Ligue 1 in the coming weeks.

The dethroned French champions are aiming to tripe Hernandez’s current salary at the San Siro to accelerate the move. Theo currently earns around €1.5million net per season at Milan, with PSG readying a €5m-a-year package.

Aware of PSG’s growing interest in one of their headline performers, Milan have moved quickly to set up a meeting with the player’s entourages. However, the Serie A giants cannot match Paris’ financial capacity and are unlikely to come anywhere near the French side’s offer.

Milan are desperate to keep hold of Hernandez, who has three years left to run at his contract. The 23-year-old has turned into one of Europe’s finest left-backs since joining the club from Real Madrid two years ago.

Last season, the Frenchman tallied eight goals and eight assists in 45 appearances in all competitions. Equally impressive at both ends of the pitch, Hernandez carries a reputation as one of the most prolific defenders in Europe’s top-five divisions.

Therefore, Milan won’t come to the negotiating table unless they receive a monstrous bid for their jewel.
