Rabiot Eager to Get Revenge over Inter After Key Losses

Adrien Rabiot commented on his season: “I always give my 100 percent, but it tough to maintain the same level in every game. I think I have already been able to perform up to my true potential, but not consistently. Some of my recent showings were strong, but it is tough to replicate them game after game.”

The Juventus midfielder talked to DAZN: “I used to play as a no.10 when I was younger; I start deeper on the pitch now. I like to have room in front of me. It is a misconception to consider me offensive-minded. I am a no.6 or no.8 nowadays.”

Rabiot has yet to score in 2021-2022: “In Italy, they pay a lot of attention to that, but I am not obsessed with it. It is not my calling. The most important thing for me is to provide my contribution at both ends. Hitting the net is something extra and not my priority. Winning is what matters the most.”

The Frenchman expressed regrets for the recent loss against Inter: “If we had beaten them, everything would have changed. Our mental approach to the League, and also the opponents’ one, would have been affected by the win. Milan and Inter would have had a lot more pressure, as it is not easy to know that Juventus are right behind you. We will try to exact revenge on the Nerazzurri in the Coppa Italia final. The two previous clashes against them, including the Supercopa, left me nervous and disappointed. We deserved better.”
