Ramos Wishes for Sevilla Return but Italians Keep Close Eye

With Sergio Ramos set to leave Paris Saint-Germain, several clubs are seemingly interested to lure him ahead of next season. The Ligue 1 champions will undergo a sort of summer overhaul, with acquisitions of the golden transfer market back in 2020/21 – Messi, Ramos and Wijnaldum all set to leave the club.

Messi is heading to America, Neymar could go to Saudi Arabia, Hakimi is being linked to a Real Madrid return, and Wijnaldum is stuck in limbo between PSG and Roma. Similarly, Ramos might land back at the club where he spent his formative years.

According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the veteran center-back wants to finish his career in Sevilla, at his boyhood club. Ramos is still going strong at 37, and intends to stay away from the lure of playing in the MLS or the Saudi league.

Reportedly, there are Italian clubs also interested in Ramos’ services, as per El Chringuito (via Tuttomercatoweb). However, he has already made his intention known to Sevilla, who are in the midst of replacing sporting director Monchi.

The Real Madrid legend will leave the Parisians as a free agent, having registered 58 appearances for the club.
