Gabri Veiga ignored Napoli’s advances early in the window to complete a highly lucrative move to Saudi Arabian outfit Al Ahli – a decision that caused uproar in the footballing community. But the 21-year-old’s Spanish teammate Dani Carvajal understands why any young player would make such a big money move.
Carvajal shared his thoughts with Movistar (via Tuttomercatoweb) in an exclusive interview.
“I understand it perfectly. When I went to Germany, I signed a five-year contract and the first thing I did was buy a house for my parents. It’s a way to help his family, we must understand the boy.
