Real Madrid to Tussle Italian Giants for French Prodigy

Spanish giants Real Madrid have reportedly joined the race for Juventus target Aurelien Tchouameni, who is increasingly becoming into one of the most sought after youth talents in Europe.

Juventus have long made their interest known in the AS Monaco midfielder as he keeps pulling in impressive performances for Les Monagasques, after his initial transfer from Bordeaux in January 2020.

He was targeted by numerous clubs during the summer transfer window but instead opted to continue his growth at Stade Louis II.

He arrived for €18m from Bordeaux but currently has a market value almost double that value, at €35m, according to transfermarkt.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Les Merengues will not hesitate to spend as much for the French international, unlike the Bianconeri, who might just fund his transfer if Dejan Kulusevski leaves the club in January. He is touted to be Casemiro’s replacement in the Spanish capital.

He is also being tracked actively by Chelsea.

Tchouameni most recently started in France’s 2-1 win over Spain in the UEFA Nations League final at San Siro on Sunday.
