Roma are set to take on high-flying Spanish outfit Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 tie following a 2-1 aggregate win over RB Salzburg. Jose Mourinho is undefeated in six outings against La Real, winning five and drawing once, but coach Imanol Alguacil is confident his side can muster a positive result.
“It will be a fascinating game, with many beautiful moments. Rome is a historic city for the fans, with a great club and a great coach. Will facing Mourinho be special? Certainly. Above all because I will be facing someone who has been a point of reference for me in my career.” (via VoceGiallorossa)

Having beaten Manchester United once in the group stages, Alguacil affirmed that a similar result can be squeezed against the Giallorossi.
“Can his Roma be beaten? Yes, if things are done right. We won with Manchester United, so why shouldn’t we do it with Roma?”
