Rebic: We Want to Take Another Step Forward and Qualify”

Ahead of the Rossonerri”s Champions League outing against Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb, Milan forward Ante Rebic provided his insight on the challenging fixture.

So far this season, the Croat has only played eight game across all competitions as he was held at bay for quite a lengthy period due to injury. However, the attacking minded player has proven to be pivotal as he tallied three goals and two assists thus far.

With Milan looking to seal all three points against Zagreb away from home in order to leap into second by one point and keep their aspirations for the Round of 16 alive, the 29 year-old spoke to Milan TV, via Tuttomercato, touched upon his thoughts regarding his opponents tomorrow evening:

“Dinamo Zagreb are a great opponent, as he showed in the first match. We analyzed our opponent well, we know their weaknesses. I hope that we will take the 3 points in Zagreb and take a step towards our goal. “

In addition, the talisman expressed how much it would mean to him if Milan were to make it out of the group:

“It is very important because this work that we have been doing in the last 3 years has led us to reach the group stage, now we want to take another step forward and qualify for the round of 16”.
