Reports: Two-Horse Race for Ronaldo – Juventus and Milan Chasing Madrid Winger

The future of Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus has been a subject of a never-ending debate in the past few weeks. Whilst the Portuguese superstar had repeatedly stated that he’s happy in Turin, the Spanish media insists that a return to Real Madrid could on the table.

The 36-year-old’s contract with the Old Lady expires in the summer of 2022, and the two parties are yet to start negotiating for a possible renewal – at least not in a serious manner.

Moreover, the Bianconeri’s disappointing Champions League elimination had sparked a media storm against CR7, who was particularly blamed for the exit due to his poor performance against Porto.

Three clubs were initially linked with a move for Ronaldo in case he ends up leaving Juventus in the upcoming summer.

Nonetheless, Express Sport (via ilBianconero) now believes that Manchester United have ruled themselves out of the race.

The legendary striker played for the Red Devils between 2003 and 2009, turning into one of the best players in the world under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson.

But if the English side is unwilling to bring back their former star, then it becomes a two-horse race between Madrid and Paris Saint Germain – at least if the report is to be believed.

On the other hand, another player could be making a move between the Spanish capital and Turin.

Lucas Vazquez has been a part of Los Blancos since 2007, but the Spaniard will be a free agent by the end of the season – unless he signs a new contract in the next few months.

According to Marca (via ilBianconero),  the 29-year-old is getting closer to the exit doors, as the latest meeting between his agent and the club didn’t go well.

Thus, Vazquez will be free to sign for a new club next season on a Bosman deal, with Juventus and Milan being named among his potential suitors.
