REVEALED: Coppa Italia Round of 16 Fixtures – Napoli handed Fiorentina

After Sampdoria ended Torino’s hopes of progressing through to the Coppa Italia Round of 16 stage with a narrow 2-1 victory, the full list has been revealed as to who will encounter each other this time around.

Il Doria’s result came after Serie B side Lecce ousted Serie A newcomers Spezia by a 2-0 scoreline at the Stadio Picco. The Lupi are the only outfit from the second division to have progressed to the last 16 phase, where they are poised to take on Jose Mourinho’s Roma.

A whole list of mouthwatering fixtures have been released for Italy’s premier cup competition, with the next round touted to take place in January.

Sampdoria will face a team from Turin for the second successive round, as they prepare to take on current Coppa Italia title holders Juventus. Max Allegri’s side will be looking to bounce back domestically with positive results in the cup.

Sassuolo prepare the host Walter Mazzarri’s faltering Cagliari side, who managed to gain some confidence with the win over Serie B side Cittadella in the previous round.

Perhaps the most eagerly anticipated clash arrives between Napoli and Fiorentina. Atalanta host Venezia in Bergamo, whereas Udinese travel to Stadio Olimpico to face Maurizio Sarri’s morale-hit Lazio.

The Milan giants – Inter and Milan – face Empoli and Genoa, respectively.
