The Azzurri roster for Euro 2020 is set as Roberto Mancini turned in his selections Tuesday night. Rafael Toloi bested Gianluca Mancini in their personal duel. As expected, the coach took one midfielder off and elected to keep out Matteo Pessina and call up both Bryan Cristante and Stefano Sensi, who was iffy due to a thigh injury.
Giacomo Raspadori re-entered the group after Italy U-21 was eliminated from their Euro at the hands of Portugal Wednesday. He will get Matteo Politano’s spot, as Mancini picked Federico Bernardeschi over the Napoli attacker as a backup option on the wing.
