Marco Carnesecchi is a wanted man as, on top of Inter and Juventus, Roma have laid eyes on him as well. They have started inquiring ahead of a potential summer pursuit. The Giallorossi have the most urgent need of the lot since Rui Patricio is on an expiring contract, La Repubblica informs (via Calciomercato).
The youngster is expected to progressively become the starter this season. Juan Musso has seen the lion’s share of minutes between the sticks so far. The Argentine was on the verge of joining the Nerazzurri last summer, but they pivoted after missing out on Anatoliy Trubin. The Bergamaschi wish to valorize both goalies.
La Dea has already slapped a €25M valuation on Carnesecchi, and the competition between the top Serie A sides such as Roma, Inter, and Juventus will only fuel their demands. It’s unlikely that La Lupa and the Bianconeri will offer that much, though.
Since they a pair of reliable options, the Orobici will be in the driver’s seat to set the conditions for the departure of one of the two.

It’s no secret that Patricio is a José Mourinho’s favorite. If the gaffer goes, which is increasingly likely, other veterans might do the same; plus, the shot-stopper hasn’t exactly been great in the past calendar year.
