Roma Complete First Signing, Sketch Transfer Market Plans

Roma have finalized their chase of Mile Svilar, who will join as a free agent, and are pondering multiple moves on the fringes to have more ammunition in the next transfer market window. The 22-year-old goalkeeper took the medicals in Paris Monday and will pen a five-year contract, Gianluca Di Marzio informs.

They will announce the addition at the end of the campaign. Svilar will back up Rui Patricio, while Daniel Fuzato will probably head elsewhere. The former wonderkid played in Benfica’s second team in the last two seasons. He appeared in 56 Liga Sabseg matches, conceding 73 goals and keeping 15 clean sheets. He debuted with Serbia in September after playing for Belgium at the youth level.

Roma are compiling a list of players to sell to foot their transfer market budget without weakening the squad. They will receive €20M from Olympique Marseille for the permanent sales of Pau Lopez and Cengiz Under. They expect Justin Kluivert to stay at Nice in a €14.5M transfer. Amadou Diawara and Carles Perez are locks to depart, Corriere dello Sport informs.

The Giallorossi believe Milan will buy out Florenzi for €4.5M, or slightly less. Gonzalo Villar, Robin Olsen, William Bianda, Ante Coric, and Bryan Reynolds will be back following loan spells. The club is hopeful of receiving decent offers for them. Roma plan to activate their €13M option to keep Sergio Oliveira. Their most recent targets are Lille midfielder Xeka, who is on an expiring contract, and Empoli left-back Fabiano Parisi, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.
