Paulo Dybala has yet to decide his future and, while Inter are believed to have the inside track, Roma could join the race too. The Giallorossi have not started negotiating with his entourage, but there have been some contacts. A few inklings could favor them, La Repubblica informs.
His agents are looking for offers and already had a face-to-face meeting with Nerazzurri CEO Giuseppe Marotta. The attacker has a previous connection with the director, who spent a few years in Turin. However, La Beneamata could at most offer him €6M per year. They set such bar on salaries with Marcelo Brozovic and Lautaro Martinez’s recent extensions.
Roma are looser on that front and could give Dybala more money. Although not as much as he asked before the Bianconeri broke off the extension talks. The parties were nearing an agreement on €8M wages plus €2M add-ons. His representatives are shopping for wealthy proposals abroad. They have received just inquiries thus far. Some potential suitors, such as Manchester United and PSG, are in flux. The Red Devils’ new coach Erik Ten Hag is reportedly an admirer. Atletico Madrid and Barcelona expressed some interest.
According to the publication, Dybala might prefer joining a foreign side or Roma rather than Inter due to his bond with the Bianconeri fans. The Giallorossi owners will try to pull off a coup in the summer. While they will prioritize signing a top-notch midfielder, bringing a player of the Argentinian attacker’s caliber on a free is a rare opportunity.
