Roma Could Exploit Milan Indecisiveness on the Wings

Milan have put Adama Traoré on hold while they insist on signing Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal, and Roma could take advantage of the situation. The Rossoneri have put forth a new offer. The Spanish club has yet to reply to it, Sky relays.

Purchasing the Nigerian winger would exclude other extra-EU players, such as Daichi Kamada and Arda Guler, Real Madrid and Barcelona are dueling for the Turkish talent now. Il Diavolo has come to terms with the 24-year-old on his personal terms.

Roma could resurface as a landing spot for Traoré while Milan focus on Chukwueze. He’s represented by Jorge Mendes. He’s available on a free as his deal with Wolverhampton has run out.

In the meantime, the Rossoneri have closed the deal for a different attacker. Luka Romero will take the medicals Thursday, the outlet adds. Stefano Pioli will assess him during the summer and then decide whether to keep him in the squad.

Our Take on Milan, Roma, Traoré, and Chukwueze

The Rossoneri need a pair if they part ways with Ante Rebic and/or Divock Origi as rumored, but they probably think they’ll snatch Christian Pulisic too. The Giallorossi are proficient in Bosman additions, but the tactical fit is suspect unless they plan to vary more next season.
