According to transfer market expert Nicolò Schira, the Giallorossi are keeping tabs on the shot-stopper ahead of a possible summer pursuit. The Salentini star is a boyhood fan, as he told DAZN after the latest clash between the two sides, where he saved a Romelu Lukaku penalty (via Gianluca DI Marzio).
“The ambition to play in a top team is always there. I’ve never denied being a Roma supporter. It would be a dream come true for me to play there. Should there be the chance, I’d be ready. But I think about Lecce now. Plus, I have a five-year contract.”
On top of Falcone, Roma have been tepidly linked to Monza’s Michele Di Gregorio. Per Tuttomercatoweb, all the renewals of their players will hang in the balance until the ownership decides the future of José Mourinho and Tiago Pinto. They are in the same spot. Patricio and Leonardo Spinazzola will have better chances of staying put if the duo stays at the helm.
