The Giallorossi have moved swiftly within the transfer market as Roma are now edging extremely close to sealing the signing of Chelsea winger Hakim Zyiech.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Nicolo Zaniolo submitted a request to depart Roma by the end of January in order to seek a new opportunity prior to when his contract with the capital club expires within six months time.
As a result, Roma have identified an alternative replacement and are very close to securing the signing of their number one choice.
According to reports from Tuttosport, Roma have reached an agreement with the London Blues regarding a permanent move of the Moroccan international to the Stadio Olimpico in order to fill the void on the right flank created by Nicolo Zaniolo.
With the 29 year-old’s contract set to expire in the summer of 2025, Zyiech is eager to depart the Premier League giants in order to obtain a fresh start and receive regular minutes on the pitch.
However, the completion of the transfer is completely reliant on whether or not Nicolo Zaniolo departs before the winter window closes shut within two weeks time.
