Roma Fans Risk Being Banned for Lazio Encounter

Roma face Napoli in a crunch top of the table encounter at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening, but the Giallorossi ultras in the stadium will need to be in their best behavior in order to not risk being banned for their next home encounter, against Lazio.

According to Il Tempo (via RomaPress.net), the Roma faithful in the Curva Sud could face sanctions – most likely a one-match ban – if a violation takes place in the game against the Partenopei with regards to racist or discriminatory chants directed towards opposition players or fans.

The Derby della Capitale is arguably the most anticipated game of the season for the Roma fans. Any disregard to the warning could result in the Giallorossi fans restricted to the fringes of the stadium for the big matchday, which is scheduled for November 6.

However, league leaders Napoli visit first, as the capital giants will look to lessen the four-point gap to just one.
