Roma would have preferred to offload Eldor Shomurodov rather than Afena-Gyan to make room for Belotti. Still, the negotiation with Cremonese has progressed more quickly than the one with Bologna for the Uzbek. The Felsinei believe the counterparty will eventually cave and let him depart on loan with option to buy. The talks with Fulham centered around Justin Kluivert have been equally challenging.
