Daniele De Rossi refused to name his Roma pillars directly when quizzed about it in one of the final pressers of the season, but he surely has some names in mind and relayed them to new director Florent Ghisolfi, Tuttomercatoweb informs.

De Rossi would like to add Paulo Dybala to the list, but Roma aren’t entirely in control due to his low release clause. Like in previous summers, it amounts to €12M for foreign teams and will be valid in the first couple of weeks of July. The talks to remove it and extend his deal have never had legs. The new exec will give it another go. La Joya’s contract is up in 2025.
Napoli might make a run at the Argentine since the Giallorossi won’t play in the Champions League. On the other hand, the capital club can nullify his release clause through a pay rise if an Italian team activates it.

The good news is that Svilar is the only real flight risk in that group, should he attract a rich big. The negative one is that they’ll still have to replace half their squad since they had several loanees who won’t stay.
