In the 25th round of Serie A, Frosinone hosted Roma in a regional Derby at the Stadio Stripe. Despite a promising start, the Canarini couldn’t find a breakthrough. The former Benfica man produced a solid save to deny Matias Soulé early on and looked alert from start to finish.

A solid if unspectacular outing from the former Leeds United right-back. Did well to keep the tricky Francesco Gelli quiet.

The stand-in Roma captain gave a rough treatment to Kaio Jorge as one would have expected. He also stopped a dangerous shot from a Brazilian with a timely block
Dean Huijsen – 7.5
The Juventus-owned teenager only needed 45 minutes to inflict damage. He was jeered by the Frosinone supporters after snubbing their club in January, but silenced them with a Leo Messi-like strike. Daniele De Rossi decided to take him off at half-time, probably to avoid a second yellow card amid the tense situation.
Angelino – 6
The former Man City fullback put on a real shift on the left flank. Did well against Soulé, but his attacking impact was rather limited.
Bryan Cristante – 6
A decent display from the Italy international who was happy to do the dirty work for Roma. He was frustrated at first, but his performance grew with the match.

The Italian youngster couldn’t quite make an impact on the right flank. Nevertheless, he’ll get credit for the third goal, as it was his strike that prompted the spot kick due to a handball on Caleb Okoli.
Sardar Azmoun – 6.5
The Iranian had trouble connecting with Lukaku in the first half while acting as an attacking midfielder. He then played as a striker in the second period, and was eventually rewarded for his hard work with a tap-in goal.
Stephan El-Shaarawy – 5.5
The Roma winger certainly ran hard, but it just wasn’t an influential display, and certainly not on his usually high standards.
Romelu Lukaku – 5.5
A disappointing first half from the Belgian who only tested Stefano Turati on one occasion amid the lack of service. His enormous physical strength was matched by Okoli who managed to nullify his threat. He was hauled off at the break.
