Jose Mourinho’s relentless quest to land a new center-forward hasn’t come to fruition yet. Roma must address their goalscoring woes, particularly in light of Tammy Abraham’s expected lengthy spell on the sidelines. But despite keeping close tabs on numerous players, the Italians have nothing to show for it.
Gianluca Scamacca’s rejection has left Mourinho’s bid to strengthen his frontlines in tatters. Bologna’s Marko Arnautovic has emerged as a potential short-term solution.
