During the week, José Mourinho made a comment about Maurizio Sarri’s players as he stated that, while Roma qualified for the Conference League Quarter Finals, Lazio are probably at home “smoking cigarettes with Maurizio Sarri“. The Lazio boss responded by saying that Mourinho was late with his remark as he quit smoking some time ago.
Both teams are looking for a place in Europe as Lazio are in the 5th place with 49 points while Roma are just one point away in the 7th place with 48 points.
Maurizio Sarri will have to make do without Stefan Radu, while José Mourinho cannot count on long-time injured player Leonardo Spinazzola.
