Cristiano Ronaldo has moved his supercar collection away from his mansion in Turin. However, it is not necessarily an indication that he has already decided to leave Juventus in the summer. The operation is routine and carried out every summer since he will not be back in Italy for a couple of months between the Euro and the vacations, Corriere della Sera reports. According to Tuttosport, instead, he just swapped some of them out because his current garage can hold just 10 out of 24.
The fact was originally reported by the site Per Sempre Calcio and confirmed by his neighbor Luciano Soroglio, who spoke to Radio Punto Nuovo: “Three years ago, when he first arrived, two lorries unloaded the cars. Sunday night, at about 11.30 pm, they took them away. The trucks were private ones, so I doubt they were transferring them to another part of town. Ronaldo was directing the proceedings. We hear them talk, but they were all speaking a foreign language.”
The outlet adds that the future of the Portuguese ace has yet to be decided. Qualifying for the Champions League and the possible hiring of Zinedine Zidane would be key factors in convincing him to play out the final year of his contract with the Old Lady.
His agent Jorge Mendes has sent out some feelers but is not actively negotiating with any other team. Ronaldo is tied to Juventus until June 2022 and earns €31M per year. PSG is considered the most likely destination should he decide to depart in the next window, and Neymar recently stated that he would like to play next to him.
