Salernitana vs Verona Could Spell the End for One of Both Coaches

Salernitana will welcome Verona in what will be a crucial clash for both sides in the Serie A. Unfortunately for both clubs, things have not gone smoothly to start the campaign for either. With just two wins (one each) and 12 points between them, trouble is brewing in the dugout for both managers.

Calciomercato writes that both boss’ heads are on the chopping block. A loss for either coach could very well see them get sacked next week. A draw might not be enough for either of them to make it another week either.

Salernitana has failed to win each of their last five games, losing back-to-back. The 5-0 thumping they received at the hands of Sassuolo on Sunday did not go down well with management. Meanwhile Verona, losers of their last three, has struggled to impress all season.

With both clubs also knocked out of the Coppa Italia at the first hurdle, next weekend’s tilt will be a very intriguing one to follow. One (or more) head(s) could fall at the conclusion of the match.
