Sampdoria might not see Damsgaard leave anytime soon but that has not prompted Massimo Ferrero and the management to sit quiet in the summer transfer window. According to Sportitalia correspondent Rudy Galetti, Il Doria have closed the deal for a highly-rated Ukrainian talent from Dynamo Kyiv, who helped the nation to its first ever FIFA tournament title at the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup.
Vladyslav Supryaga, 21, was the star of the international tournament as he bagged a brace in the final 3-1 victory over South Korea.

Supryaga has been praised for his robust style of play, catching the attention of the club scouts, who did not delay in recommending the youngster to the club management. He has reportedly been signed on a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of his loan tenure for €6m. He is expected to land in Italy soon for his medical.
The 21-year-old centre-forward will join veteran Fabio Quagliarella and co. in the squad ahead of the new season as part of Roberto D’Aversa dynamic team.
He won the Ukrainian treble last season with Dynamo Kyiv – scoring three goals and making five assists in 31 appearances for the club.
Genoa and Udinese were also said to be interested in him.
