The Serie A clash between Sampdoria and Roma will take place at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in Genova at 6.00 PM CET. The last time the Blucerchiati met the Giallorossi was in December and the match ended in a tie.
Sampdoria are only four points away from the relegation zone and in the last match against Spezia they gained three valuable points despite the bad period they are going through.
Marco Giampaolo will not have at disposal five injured players: Mikkel Damsgaard, Albin Ekdal, Manolo Gabbiadini, Sebastian Giovinco and Andrea Conti.
On the other side, Roma are looking for a place in Europe being in the sixth place with only one point away from Lazio after their victory in the Derby Della Capitale.
José Mourinho cannot count on long-time injured player Leonardo Spinazzola and also on Jordan Veretout and Nicolò Zaniolo, whose future in Roma remains uncertain.
