Maurizio Sarri will reportedly sign a new contract with Lazio that keeps him at the club till 2024.
According to Calciomercato.com, the 62-year-old will pen a new deal with the Biancocelesti and it could extend his stay in Rome till 2024.
Sarri joined Lazio this summer, one year after being sacked by Juventus. Under him, the Biancocelesti started the Serie A well but they have not been very consistent since.
The Rome outfit are currently ninth in the league standings with 21 points, ten behind fourth-placed Atalanta. Lazio may not have produced results that make them look like a title contender but they have had some moments, the most notable of them being defeating reigning champions Inter 3-1.
Besides Serie A, the Biancocelesti are close to reaching the knockout stages of the Europa Stage and have a fair chance of reaching the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia.
Sarri is a pretty good manager and he is very much capable of helping Lazio reach a position where they can challenge for the league.
