Sassuolo CEO Carnevali Reveals Scamacca Dialogue with PSG

The list of suitors for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca is growing lengthier by the day, and PSG are one of those clubs really interested in the up-and-coming forward. The Parisians have only recently emerged in the picture of the long-linked Inter target, who is also in the crosshairs of Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, Arsenal and Milan.

Neroverdi chief executive Giovanni Carnevali revealed to Sky Sport Italia (via Tuttomercatoweb) that he had a summit with new PSG sporting director Luis Campos and Scamacca was one of the topics of their conversations.

“Luis Campos is a good friend, we also met at the Champions League final. We talked about several players, but certainly Scamacca was the subject of the conversation. I think he is an interesting player for many clubs.”

Inter are currently busy negotiating contract terms for Paulo Dybala and the return of Romelu Lukaku, due to which the Azzurri forward has fallen into the background. Arsenal are the most recent team, along with PSG, to emerge in the race to onboard Scamacca.
