Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali expects clubs to heap in demand for talented star Davide Frattesi, who has been strongly linked with a move back to Roma. The 23-year-old central midfielder is not short of suitors, with several top clubs from Serie A and abroad vying for his signature.
In an exclusive interview with Telelombardia (via Calciomercato), Carnevali spoke highly of the Giollorossi youth product.
“There are many requests for an important player such as Frattesi for that type of role. I wouldn’t be surprised if offers also arrive from other leagues. Maybe Inter will also come and ask us. The big names could all come knocking on our door for him, but we haven’t made a precise assessment yet.”
Inter, Juventus and Roma are all expected to take part in the bidding process come June for Frattesi.
Sassuolo CEO Carnevali: “There are also Premier League clubs keen on signing Davide Frattesi in the summer, talks will take place soon with Italian and English clubs”, tells il Foglio. ?? #transfers

Frattesi and Roma diverged paths last winter due to disparate valuations, with Sassuolo eventually opting to keep him until the end of the season. The Neroverdi expect any interested club to shell at least €40M for the highly-rated midfielder.
