Sassuolo Duo on Forefront of Inter Transfer Market Plans

Inter might have a very quiet January transfer market window unless some of their current players left. But they are already laying the groundwork for a busy summer. They will try to further strengthen the roster, especially with high-level youngsters, Alfredo Pedullà reports.

The main candidates to depart in the upcoming window are Matias Vecino and Aleksander Kolarov. Nahitan Nandez’s agent offered him to a few clubs. However, the Nerazzurri do not seem particularly keen due to his tag. Should the Serbian defender leave, they might sign another wing-back and permanently move Federico Dimarco to the backline.

While there will not be seismic changes in early 2022, Inter intend to be very active on the transfer market next summer. They are intensely pursuing two Sassuolo buddying stars: Davide Frattesi and Gianluca Scamacca. Both are in high demand, but La Beneamata hope to beat out the competition. Roma will try to bring back the midfielder, who is a product of their youth academy. Juventus like them both, while the center-forward is one of the top candidates to replace Dusan Vlahovic and is on Milan’s radar too.

The CEOs of the two teams, Giuseppe Marotta and Giovanni Carnevali, have an excellent relationship, whic could help. Scamacca has the same agent, Alessandro Lucci, as Joaquin Correa and Edin Dzeko. On other fronts, despite his recent words, Inter are very confident that André Onana will join them on a Bosman move. Instead, Luiz Felipe, despite Simone Inzaghi’s appreciation, is not one of their top defensive targets.
