Sassuolo Eye Scamacca Alternative, Bundesliga Clubs Interested

Sassuolo and Italy U21 hitman Gianluca Scamacca, who spent last season on loan at Genoa, is being speculated for a transfer away from the Neroverdi ahead of the new Serie A season.

The former PSV Eindhoven youth striker is being noted by two Bundesliga clubs in particular, according to Gianluca di Marzio via OneFootball. Eintracht Frankfurt and SC Freiburg are reportedly interested in signing him. Apart from the Bundesliga clubs, Serie A giants Inter, Juventus and Milan were first to take note of his abilities and have kept an eye on him since his move to the Italian top flight.

Another Sassuolo talent in Giacomo Raspadori is also being eyed upon, especially by Inter, as a plan B. The Nerazzurri are on the lookout for Lukaku’s replacement – Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata and Roma’s Edin Dzeko, Lazio’s Joaquin Correa and Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic are being rounded as possible targets.

With the two Sassuolo strikers in demand, the club have identified Chievo Verona’s Manuel De Luca as a prime target. Chievo have recently parted ways with the 1998-born forward, after the club failed to register for Serie B.
