Nobody quite cashes in like the Neroverdi, which might have done in the summer if he hadn’t gotten hurt. They lose one of their top weapons just as he was getting his mojo back, but the price tag is mouth-watering. Bajrami needs a change of scenery, and he gives them the flexibility to switch to a straightforward 4-2-3-1 if they want to. Empoli are in a very comfortable spot no matter what. They will take a chance on a pair of talents that have yet to blossom. Good deals all around.
